The Thirteenth Fairy
I have fallen behind on my reading again, not caught up with the board as I have been laid low with a virus for a week. I'm still weak, but now believe I'll be back at work on Monday. During one of my fever-dreams, I somehow managed to think of Aunt Agatha as the thirteenth fairy. She was being especially hateful to poor Bertie and someone - a young woman, I think - remarked that she was just like the thirteenth fairy. This is absurd as with her background, Agatha would never have been caught airing her dirty linen in public. But it was just a dream. Sadly, I don't remember how she reacted to the remark and would have loved to. I suppose I was trying to amuse myself by thinking of interesting things when all I could do was lie in bed. Occasionally I think of her as Aunt Hagatha - another little crossover reference there (Pokemon). Thinking about the thirteenth fairy especially, more than Hagatha, puts silly ideas into my head. Just how many 'interesting' crossovers does one fandom need? (mopes off again) Current Mood: sick |

Screencaps of series 2, episode 3
And here's episode 3, Pearls Mean Tears. Sorry for doing two posts so close together. I was planning on doing one post for both episodes, but it would have got a bit long. Anyway, you can download the whole folder here (76 MB, 1488 caps). I apologize in advance for my uninspired and/or inappropriate comments. ( You know the drill... ) Current Mood: accomplished |

What ho, all. Another practical question here. Sorry to be so full of questions lately. This is the question. If Jeeves were to be temporarily unemployed (by temporarily, I mean not more than a couple of weeks) and had to go and stay in a London hotel for a while, what sort of establishment would someone of his 'class' stay? I know that Jeeves, while far from being as wealthy as Bertie, of course, was pretty well-off - far from being poor, at least. In the stories and novels we get glimpses of him living the high life a little bit when off-duty - the plush Ganymede club, the cigars in Manhattan night clubs, etc. Well-off enough to pass himself off as a reasonably well-to-do gentleman, anyway. So, would he stay at one of the higher-end places, or would prudence prompt him to choose something more along the lines of a smaller inn or guest house? If you happen to know anything about 1920/1930s London, or happen to know the names of some places Jeeves might have stayed at that time, I'm all ears! I've researched the Great Western Hotel (now a Hilton) in Paddington, but I can't get a sense as to whether Jeeves might have considered it too extravagant. By the way, for the purposes of the plot I'm developing, it has to be a hotel - he can't be staying with family or friends or anything like that - and it needs to be in London, though not necessarily Central London. Be glad to hear any opinions! Pip pip! |

Show Me: 1/1 (NC-17)
Title: Show Me Author: Robin Gurl Pairing: BB/DM (more like DM/BB) Rating: NC-17 (I think it drops to R a few times but then shoots straiiight back up to NC-17) Beta: glamoursnipeSummary: Billy's comparing sex partners. Dom or Ali? (I promise Ali doesn't physically appear in here.) Notes: LOL. o.O; This is what happens when you look at high rated Billy and Dom manips and write off them. I do bad mouth Ali a little bit, but it's ok because Dom has every right. :) Disclaimer: Never happened to my knowledge and if it did, I want the video tape please? PreviewBilly looked around uncomfortably, making sure no one was else in the room, before he leaned forward and whispered, "You said you wanted to show me what it's like to do** a bloke, and that it was ten times better than what I was getting with her." "It is," Dom replied, still not understanding. "Show me." (**A/N - Edited for preview) **** ( Hot Boy Sex Under Here ) Current Mood: naughty |

Fic: Jeeves and the Dress-Up Doll
So a few plotbunnies got together. One was Jeeves losing control, one was the remnant of an old OMC/OMC pairing of mine (the younger thought he was dying of leukemia and let himself become his partner's sex toy), one was from a fic I read a while ago that I can't remember the name of where Jeeves is portrayed as a "seducer of men," and last but not least, one was one of queen_fiend's captions remarking " Jeeves and his Bertie-doll." They started breeding. One of their rabbitlings was a dark-fic. Many thanks to toodlepipsigner for beta'ing! Title: Jeeves and the Dress-Up Doll Pairing: Jeeves/Bertie Summary: Jeeves is missing a few layers in the old onion and has come to view his master as more of a possession than a person... Rating: NC-17 Words: 2,189 Disclaimer: Contains elements of sexual objectification, rape, mental instability, and hints of clothing fetishism. ( Dolls are supposed to make people happy )And if anyone feels as disturbed as I did when I finished writing this, here: have some good sugary fluff Current Mood: awakeCurrent Music: Eiko Shimamiya - Super Scription of Data |

01-07 July 2009 FilmThe Edmonton Sun ran a good review of "Stone of Destiny" on 3rd July: ( Text under the cut )TelevisionMany news sites ran stories on the possible/probable/almost certain demise of the long-standing Glasgow police series "Taggart", after ITV failed to commission any episodes for next year. A few quick ones
First off, triedunture regrets to report the following regarding her entry in Jeeves, Wooster, and the Educational Tour: (copied from Twitter): "Guys, blanket statement: I am so sorry I dropped the ball on the Jooster challenge. I sucked. Just go ahead without me! *fails at life*" (I asked her if she could make a formal post here, but seeing as she hasn't yet and the next Educational Tour deadline is coming up...) My apologies if I'm overstepping my boundaries, but I'd hate to see this project to fall through the cracks when it's just getting off the ground! jmparrot, you're up next! Second, and I know there have been plenty of posts like this before, but I'm looking for a beta for my latest fic. It covers a lot of things (sexual objectification, a less-than-sane narrator) that I've never written about before and I'd like to get a second opinion before I post it. It's not that long, either. Only about 2,000 words. Third, I discovered recently that there was NO fanart of Bertie-prototype Reggie Pepper on DeviantArt. So I took the liberty of remedying that. :D That's all for now, hope to return with fic soon! Toodle-pip! Current Mood: contemplativeCurrent Music: Hugh Laurie - Puttin' On the Ritz |

We Are Coming... Torchwood: Children of Earth (aka Torchwood Season 3) started yesterday, and I've already been seeing positive comments on a number of forums about the new series. Granted, it's only 5 episodes instead of the usual 13 - but if what I've been reading is any indication, this series will be just as fantastic as the previous 2 (if not more so). I haven't had the chance to watch Episode 1 myself, though I plan on doing so this afternoon before Episode 2 airs tonight. Can't wait to see what Torchwood is up to now.
